Διαθέτοντας πλέον αξιόλογες υποδομές, προσφέρει σε όλους τους δημότες της Πάτρας, την πιο ιδανική λύση για τον τύπο της άθλησης που τους ταιριάζει.

Το αθλητικό σωματείο Ναυταθλητική Ένωση Πατρών (Ν. Ε. Π.) προέρχεται από τη συνένωση δύο αθλητικών σωματείων της πόλης των Πατρών, τον Α. Ο. ΘΡΙΑΜΒΟ ΠΑΤΡΩΝ (που ιδρύθηκε το έτος 1976) και τον Α. Ο. ΠΟΣΕΙΔΩΝΑ ΠΑΤΡΩΝ (που ιδρύθηκε το έτος 1982). Η συνένωση αυτή πραγματοποιήθηκε με επιτυχία το έτος 2005, από τα Διοικητικά Συμβούλια των δύο σωματείων, τα οποία αποτελούσαν έμπειροι αθλητικοί παράγοντες, που είχαν ως όραμα και στόχο κυρίως, την δημιουργία δυνατών περιφερειακών ομάδων στον υγρό στίβο της χώρας, τόσο στην υδατοσφαίριση, όσο και στην κολύμβηση (κλασική και συγχρονισμένη).
